Meet Wayne Gray
Wayne grew up in East Biloxi well Known as "The Point". Where he attended Howard 2 Elementary School and Nichols Middle School before moving to St Martin where he finished out school and settled down in Woolmarket. Wayne grew up playing baseball on Rosetti Street and he knows the importance of having nice places for the youth to play sports. He is an advocate outdoorsman who loves the water and knows the importance of the Natural Resources brings to Biloxi and he will fight to keep that safe. Wayne and his wife, Susie Skrmetta currently reside in Ward 1 and have 7 grandchildren together. Wayne was a business owner of a Construction & Underground Utility Company that worked with numerus cities and close with county leaders. He worked throughout Biloxi and other states fixing water, sewer & drainage problems. With that expertise, he will be quick to help Ward 1 with any problems that will arise. Wayne has been attending the City Council meetings regularly to keep up with things that are currently happening and laws that are getting passed. Being ready on day 1 is knowing what is happening throughout the year. Wayne looks forward to having the opportunity to work closely with the people in Ward 1. It would be an honor to serve the place he calls home!
